The Sussex and Surrey Institute of Technology (SSIoT) building on Crawley College campus has achieved many key construction project milestones.
As of April 2025, power has been supplied to the building, brickwork is mainly complete, most of the glazing has been fitted, solar panels on the roof have been installed and much of the internal drywall/plasterboard has been fitted.
This isn’t just a building. It’s a bold vision for the future of education and innovation. Students will work with cutting-edge technology, collaborate with industry leaders and prepare for careers in fast-growing sectors like engineering, digital tech, AI and sustainable construction.
